After his divorce, RALF BÜTOW (Sebastian Achilles) is drawn back to his home town of Lübben in the Spreewald.
There he meets his old best friend, the doctor Erik (Daniel Buder) and his brother, the pub owner Lars (Hannes Schmid) - the old gang is back together.
In search of a new purpose in his life, Ralf joins Lars in the catering business. But an undiscovered tumor causes Ralf to go blind.
